Zhengrong Yuan (袁峥嵘)

Professor | Ph.D. Advisor | Principal Investigator

Dr. Zhengrong Yuan is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Beijing Forestry University, and a recipient of the BJFU "Teaching Excellence Award." His research focuses on animal gene editing and bio-breeding, animal genomics and bioinformatics, animal genetics and reproduction, animal reproductive biology, hibernation biology, and AI biology. He is the principal lecturer of the first national first-class undergraduate course "Animal Physiology A." He has led projects funded by the National Key R&D Program of China, NSFC, and Beijing NSFC, publishing 60+ papers in Nature (Correspondence), iMeta, Nature Communications, GigaScience, and other journals. He holds 3 national invention patents and 5 software copyrights.
